This saracen 5 gearbox consists of the centre case only and attaches to extension pieces via serrated connections, also known as crocodile teeth fixings.
Saracen FM deadlock gearbox has the code 05058 on the shootbolt extension sockets to distinguish it from its flatcounter part.
This gearbox also has a unique cranked design with a 22mm backset.
These gearboxes are available in with a 9.5mm latch size. The 11.5mm and 13.5mm latches are discontinued.
